Welcome to Make Another Day. After months of indecision, we picked that name after reading the lyrics to California Stars. It fit for a few reasons.
First, this blog is the documentation of our amazing cross country trip from our humble beginnings in Connecticut, to vast unknown of that other coast. And, duh, California is right there in the title of the song. Secondly, if you read the lyrics you'll find (at least we did) that there is a certain underlying message to the song; that of striving for betterment, of working so hard for something, be it survival or just a feeling of contentment, and to do it with and for the one you love.
For a while we've felt we were working for nothing. Falling into bed at night, sighing, wishing that we had more. Not more money or more things, just more of life. More of those things that make you look at each other and fall in love again. More of the things that make you forget your crappy job, and remind you that you are an important part of this world, and you can make a difference. And so we're off, to make our place in the world.
